Nancy MacNeal McComsey Hicklen, 77, of Sadsburyville, PA passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester.

 
For the past nine years she has resided in Sadsburyville with her daughter and son-in-law.  Prior to that Nancy lived in Oxford and Coatesville.  
 
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late William H. MacNeal Jr. and Lauretta Ward MacNeal.  
 
She was preceded in death by her husband John Hicklen.
 
She graduated from Coatesville Area High School in 1952.
 
Nancy worked as a Ward Clerk for 15 years at the Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville and as a Ward Clerk for 15 years at Southern Chester County Hospital in Jennersville.  
 
Nancy enjoyed bird watching, her beautiful flower gardens and most of all the time she spent with her family.  
 
She is survived by her five children: Lindie Smith and her husband Jim of Sadsburyville; Greg McComsey and his wife Sharon of Fairborn, Ohio; Jeff McComsey and his wife Patti of Coatesville; Brian McComsey and his wife Mary Lou of Coatesville; and Garrick McComsey of Coatesville.  She also has 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6th, 2012 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa. 19365 with Pastor William Kelly officiating.  The viewing will take place at the Funeral Home on both Thursday evening from 6 until 8 PM and on Friday morning from 10 until the time of the service.  
 
Interment will be held at the Upper Octorara Presbyterian Cemetery in Parkesburg.
