Virgie R. Owens, 75, of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, December 10th, 2011 at her home.
Born in Mountain City, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Roby and Hollie (Henderson) Owens.
She was retired from the Chester County Intermediate Unit where she worked as a Secretary for 20 years.
Virgie was a member of the Towerville Christian Church.
She is survived by her siblings, Mamie Soehner, Victoria Pawlowski, Sue Pluck and Irene Patton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery of East Fallowfield. Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 10 until 11 AM.

We are very sadden by the passing of Virgie, She was truly a kind and considerate woman who showed a great deal of kindness to my three grandchildren.
We know that she is with the Angles and we pray for her peace.

Virgie and I became good
Virgie and I became good friends about 2 years ago- She was truly a Christian woman who prayed for all her friends and cared deeply for them- I work for Dr. Paroya, her doctor, and that is where we met- We shared several stories of our lives past and present- I enjoyed her company always and will truly miss her- I know she is with her Lord resting in peace- God bless you Virgie- I will miss you........
