Vivian survived her husband David Powell Hayes of Collingdale, PA, who retired after 42 years at The Bell Telephone Company (AT&T) in Philadelphia. David was in the Navy during WWII, and they met prior to that in classes at Drexel University where Vivian received her bachelor
When she was younger, she enjoyed swimming, playing tennis and bridge and was an avid reader. She continued to play bridge well into her senior years and was a dedicated TV fan of the Phillies and of major tennis and golf tournaments. She lived with her daughter Doris, son-in-law Larry, and granddaughter Megan for 23 years in Coatesville, PA, and they were happy years for the so-called Gang of Four. Vivian is survived by her four daughters Lois Hayes married to Bob Marcus, Jane Andrew married to Brian, Doris Talley married to Larry, and Barbara Hayes. She is also survived by her three wonderful grandchildren David Marcus married to Kirsten Piening Marcus, Megan Reppert engaged to Bob Stine, and Br. Kevin Andrew, OP, and by her two beautiful great granddaughters Zoey and Kaya Marcus.
There will be private services for the family. An Open House to celebrate Vivian's life will be at the Talley residence on Sunday, November 13th from 1 to 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OAEA Scholarship Program, Octorara Area Elementary School, Highland Road, Atglen, PA 19310.

We were so sorry to hear of the lose of your mother.
Doris and family, Helen just called to tell me of the passing of your mother. She felt so bad that she had not realized what was happening on Friday when she saw you. I know your mother is is a good place now, without pain, but it is still hard to say good by and will be for a while.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Mary Kay and Helen McCann
Thank you
Thank you MaryKay and Helen
Mother became sick so quickly, but it was a help having friendly faces like Helen's around us. Larry and I always enjoyed visiting with Helen. Please give her a hug from us.
Fondly,
Doris
