My first job was at Oxford Manor (now Ware Presbyterian Village) when I was just a teenager several decades ago. Your Dad was always motoring around spreading joy and smiles. I clearly remember him sitting there at the corner table by the diningroom door opposite the activities room on first floor nursing. He always sat by the window so as to not miss waiving and greeting all those who passed down the hallway. He would shout out a boastful "hello!" through the window.

After I completed High School, I went off to college and no longer worked at WPV. However, I remember seeing Murph at the Halloween Parade on the annual WPV float. Then I would catch him up town on his scooter with the tall flag on the back.

I am grateful to be one of the many who has such warm and happy memories of your Dad. Thank you for sharing him with all of us! God Bless!
