Franklin Mason King, 77, of Nottingham, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at his home. Born in Sutton, W. VA he was the son of the late Howard F. and Sarah Ellen King. Frank was employed by Pipe Maintenance of Exton retiring in 1996. He proudly served in the US Army from 1955 to 1957.
He is survived by nine children; Terry King and wife Michele of Temple, PA, Marvin King and wife Laurie of Wernersville, James King of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Juanita Reber of Gap, Sheilla Anderson of Ephrata, Melissa, wife of Tom Wagner of Quarryville, Lisa Devine of Parkesburg, Michelle, wife of Joe Gentry of Cochranville and Melanie, wife of Bobby Blevins of Nottingham, 29 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and two sisters Nancy King and Ruby Rattlif both of W. VA. He was preceded in death by two sons, Rick King and Mike Banks and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening, September 8, 2011 at 8:00 pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with a viewing from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
