I want to express my sympathy to the family of Evelyn Weaver. I am a long time member of Grove UMC and knew your parentsvey well.

I am sorry to hear about Aunt Evelyn's passing. She was a special lady with a good sense of humor and a smile that wouldn't quit. I didn't see her that often, but I always enjoyed it when I would happen to run into her. I thought she was a good example of what a good mother and wife should be. But mostly, when I think of Aunt Evelyn, I think of what a good example of a Christian woman she was. I am sorry for your loss, but am comforted by the knowledge that she crossed that last bridge and is now at home. She will always be with you, just not like before.

We are praying for you and your family during this time of bereavement.
While we learned a lot about your wonderful mother over the years, it has not been that long ago that we actually met her. Her love and generosity were consistently displayed in the lives of her family members. She touched many and we all are the richer for it.
May God strengthen and comfort you.

We send our condolences to the Weaver family. Evelyn was a real delight. I used to try to catch her when she would walk by our house with her dogs so we could chat for a bit. She was always so upbeat and sweet. I hope her family finds comfort in the wonderful memories of a beautiful life.

With Our Deepest Sympathies,

Dorene & Tom Evans

Lots of memories of Evelyn and the whole family. Youngest son Michael looked a lot like our son Eric. A quick glance and one would have thought that they were brothers. Son Eddie so very tall when he played in the Great Valley Little League that when he pitched he was overpowering. In one game the boys on our team concluded that if they stood very close to the plate, Eddie was afraid that he would hit them. Results were lots of walks. Son Eric worked as a teenager for a door to door company called Rawleigh foods. I still have a little cookbook that came from him. A special thought about Evelyn. I worked for a veterinarian over in the Westtown area. One evening I was calling a client to tell her that their dog was ready for pick up from its bath. I misdialed and got Evelyn on the phone. I did not identify myself, but she said, "Elaine, is that you?"
Lots of special thoughts, and when we drive by the house on King Road, we always refer to it as Weaver's place. Evelyn was a good and sweet person. Angels must have sung songs of joy when she entered into heaven. Elaine and Harry Lehr
