Pudge,
It's been a long time. But I thought that I would be remiss not to offer my condolences on the death of your Mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God bless!

Dear Pudge,

I'm so sorry.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days and months to come.

Your mother was always so very kind to my mother...in fact, I remember Mom was so grateful to Bethene for driving her to Mrs. Trout's service years ago... When I visited with her that time, she was quick to show me your photograph and tell me how very, very proud she was of you and your family!

I am sorry that I will not be able to be there for you on Saturday, but please, please know I will keep you and your family in prayer.

May the Lord bring comfort to a daughter's heart...

Caring,
LuAnn

Dear Pudge,

Even though I have already expressed my personal condolences to you at the passing of your Mom ("Aunt Bethene" to all of the Valente off-spring), I still wanted to remind you that ALL of us (your Pa. cousins)truly do share in your sadness and loss. Aunt Bethene was the last of her generation in our immediate area, and we appreciated the love and concern of the matriarch who continued to watch over us (and share the great memories of our youth)after our parents had gone.

Thank you for sharing her with us, and know that she has gone to a more peaceful place. She raised you to be the best that you could be, and she was very proud of you (and her grandsons). She knew she had done all she could here on earth, and she was ready to go when God called. Be happy for your Mom and know that she has received her reward.

We will miss her.

Love,
Dolly

Dear Pudge,
We were so sorry to learn of your Mom's passing and wanted you to know that we have always been grateful to her for a very special kindness. You may remember that she drove to our house in the middle of the night to stay with Joel while we went to the hospital to wait for his baby sister.
Her willingness to extend a helping hand has never been forgotten.

We're sure you will hear other anecdotes in the days to come that will provide comfort and bring back many good memories of your Mom. She was certainly an important part of all your lives, as you were of hers.

Our sincere sympathy to you, Mickey, and the boys,
Nancy and Henry
