Eleanor Bajor Wasko, 89, passed away on December 9, 2010. Born in Philadelphia on March 24, 1921, she was the only child of Peter and Catherine Bajor.
Eleanor was raised in Phoenixville and spent 51 years as a resident of Sadsburyville with her husband Joe who preceded her in passing.
Eleanor was a member of St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church in Coatesville, where she was a member of the women's club.
She is survived by two sons: Joseph Wasko, Jr. and Chris Wasko and a daughter, Kathryn Trumpelman. Her beloved grandchildren are Joel, Jessie and Jonathan Wasko; Stephanie Trumpelman and Amanda and Quinn Wasko.
She enjoyed having all her family over for traditional Polish Christmas Eve, working outdoors in her yard, spending time with her friends and hearing about her grandchildren's adventures.
A viewing will be held from 10 until 11 AM on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, 404 Charles Street, Coatesville, PA 19320 and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in the Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church at the above address.
