Virginia Ruth Lambert, 62, of Gap, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the Lancaster General Hospital. She was the widow of the late Donald Lambert.
Born in West Grove, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Kennedy Hash and Ivan Hash.
She is survived by two children, Erick Garman of North Carolina, and A. Paul Lambert of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, and one brother, Walter Hash, husband of Mary, of Coatesville
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery of East Fallowfield. The viewing will be held at the Funeral Home from 10 until 11 AM.

Ginny was one of my favorite patients I used to take care of when I worked at the VNA, I loved to go see her as she would always have great stuff to talk about, I'm sure she'll be dearly missed!!

Erick, Aaron Paul, Walter, Mary, friends and family. Ruth was a very special person. No matter what she could always make you laugh. She was a very special cousin which we loved dearly. Thank God she is no longer suffering. Our prayers are with you. Sorry we are not able to be there. God Bless each of you is our prayer.

I just heard today of Virginia's passing. I'm very sorry to hear this. I've known Virginia for 51 yrs. We went to school together, we were good friends, we were sister-in-laws at one time. She was always funny, upbeat and a friendly person. My sympathies to her sons and to Walt. She will be dearly missed.
