Michael B. Jones

Michael B. Jones, 43, of Phoenixville passed away at his home on Friday June 18, 2021. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Karen M. (Shade) Leamy and step-father Jim Leamy.

Michael was a 1996 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School.

Michael will be missed dearly by his friends and family, he will remembered for his kind and gentle disposition, as well as his love of animals. He enjoyed trips to the beach, walking, movie marathons with his mom, writing, and creating art-work which he presented to those closest to him as gifts.

He was a perfect son, who was always concerned for others.  Michael was very involved with Stepping Stones Club House, where he helped with computers, the switchboard, and meal prep.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two step-siblings; Jay Leamy and Kathy Mancaruso. Additonally he is survived by the following aunts and uncles, Alan Shade and wife Donna, Cynthia Lespier and husband Rene, and Crystal Shade Derr and husband Tom, and also by cousins: Angela Shade Katamura and Dallas Derr and wife Kailee, and lastly by his best friend: Liam Shannon and his roommates Dave and Mario.

A memorial service will take place at a later date and time.
