Donald B. Jordan, Sr., 86, of Coatesville, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Harrison Senior Living Nursing Home in Christiana, PA. He was the companion of the late Florence H. Draper who died in 2011. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Walter H. Jordan and Sara S. Walton Jordan.
Donald was an area resident all his life. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Most of his life he was employed as a truckdriver.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he was a member of the Coatesville VFW.
He is survived by six children; William Jordan of Modena, Laura Reilly of Coatesville, Edward Jordan of Coatesville, Walter Jordan of Coatesville, Thomas Draper of Denver, PA and Angela Draper Smith of Valley Twp., 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one sister Clara Jordan Evans of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by one son Donald B. Jordan, Jr. and three siblings; Raymond Jordan, Cecil E. Jordan and Rosetta Grim.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery in East Fallowfield. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.
