George L. Seldon, Sr.

George L. Seldon, 82, of Gap, passed away on Wednesday, March 9th, 2016 under the care of the VA Hospice of Coatesville.  

Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Clara and Clifton Seldon.  He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War.  

George was retired from G.O. Carlson.

He is survived by his three children: George L. Seldon Jr. of Georgia, Kimberly Montenez of Georgia and David Seldon of New Jersey; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; his sister Estell Seldon of Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.  

He was predeceased by four siblings, Clara Seldon, Dorothy Byrd, Frizell Seldon and Thomas Seldon.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 19th, 2016 at 1 PM at the VA's All Faith Chapel, Building 72, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA followed by interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery of Atglen.  The viewing will take place at the Chapel from noon to 1 PM.
