Worth Mullis

Worth Mullis, 86, of Nottingham, passed on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 while staying with his daughter in Boone, NC. He was the husband of the late Evelyn Harvey Mullis who died in 2010. Born in Ashe County, NC, he was the son of the late William L. and Delta C. Barker Mullis. Worth was employed by PennDot as a heavy equipment operator. He attended the Solanco Bible Church of Quarryville. His life revolved around his Church, his family and his work.

He is survived by seven children; Janet Owens of Boone, NC, Kathy, wife of Ernie Tilley of Round Lake, ILL, JR Mullis of Quarryville, Wilma, wife of Walter Clark of Kirkwood, Ralph Mullis of Reading, Robin, wife of Belson Cabrera of Bellingham, WA and Artie Mullis and wife Michele of Drumore, 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Rocky Mullis and three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Faggs Manor Cemetery, Cochranville, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing Thursday morning from 10 to 11:00 am.
