William M. Nickle, 52, of New Castle, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Christiana Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Karen Albright Nickle, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.
Born on October 26, 1956 in Wilmington, he was the son of Louis Nickle Jr. of Elkton, Md., and the late Dorothy Hall Nickle. An area resident his entire life, he was a graduate of the DeLaWarr High School. He was employed by Gambacorta Buick for 18 years, working in the Parts Dept. He was an Episcopalian by faith.
He is survived, in addition to his wife and father, by two children: Valerie and Brett, both of New Castle; his brothers, Louise Nickle III, Robert and Michael Nickle, all of Newark. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Nickle.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service, which will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 1 p.m. at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, 1121 Octorara Trail, Parkesburg, PA 19365.
