William Edward Feathers, 78, of Cochranville, passed away on Monday, October 8th, 2018 at the Christiana Hospital in Newark. He was the beloved husband of Kathy (Hall) Feathers, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Mabel (Jones) Oxley and Lance Feathers. He served honorably in the US Marines for nearly four years.
He earned his bachelors degree in engineering from Widener University. William worked at DuPont as a mechanical engineer, and he holds a few patents for his work as an engineer.
He loved spending time with his family. He was an avid reader and loved the North Carolina beaches.
William is survived, in addition to his wife, by his daughters: Dianne Smith, Donna McCarter, Karen Balog, and Kathy Smith; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Doris Lambert, and Dolores Doucette.
He was predeceased by his son Michael Feathers, and grandson Jason McCarter.
At William's request, there will be no funeral service.
