My most sincere heart felt condolences on the news of Tonia's passing.  No words can express all of our heart break and sorrow.  Without question, her pathway to heaven was llined with the gold that was within her heart.  Tonia would be the "go too" person for strength and wisdom during such a time but now we must stand together and embrace the spirit of her memories, love and devotion to her family and friends.  A strong spirited soul who would brighten everyones day with her smile and kindness.  A selflessness person who was so proud of her grandsons and shared her love of them with all.  I pray that we all feel her heavenly hand on our shoulder as we mourn her passing, letting us know she is at eternal rest.   See you on the other side Tonia I promise.

To all of Tonia's family, extended family, and loved ones: please accept my most sincere condolences on your loss of Tonia. We first met at Acme in 1988 when I started working at Oxford, and she was unfailingly helpful and cheerful, as well as an amazingly hard worker.  She always had a smile for everyone and a great sense of humor. She will be sorely missed by all.  May she Rest In Peace.

Herbie,
Mom was a gift, given to me through you. Like you she was my friend when no-one else would be, we talked about so much and she helped and truly cared about me, I know that. I remember, that smile and how much she wanted me to do well in life. I'll never forget her.
Love you guys

Barb and Family,

I was so shocked to hear of Tonia's passing.  I had algebra class with her in 1983 and she was always happy and was a wiz at math.

Sending you all big, big hugs.

Our sincerest sympathy to Kerry, Herbie and family and Tonia's parents.

Tonia was the sweetest person and was loved by everyone who knew her.  She had an infectious smile and way about her that lit up a room when she was around.  She never had an unkind word about anyone in fact she went out of her way to lend a shoulder or a hand to anyone.  She wasn't a stranger to anyone after meeting them.  People gravitated to her just to be in her kind presence.  I'm sure she has brightened heaven and we know she is still watching over her loved ones.  George and I worked with her and she always made a night or sale go faster. She stopped by Gibneys's before we closed and even then going through all her treatments she didn't want anyone to worry about her.  She was a true friend.  Fly high girl, you deserve a place in heaven.  It is not for you we mourn as we know you are in a better place, it is for us left behind who will miss you dearly..

She was the best!  Its not goodbye but see you later.  Love Ruthann & George

I am heartbroken to learn about Tonia's passing.  Tonia was one of my students in 6th, 7th & 8th grade classes.  We continued seeing each other through the years as I shopped at the Oxford ACME.  When it closed, I followed the ACME to Avondale to buy meat, but also to see Tonia.  She always had time for a quick chat, all the while hard at work.  I had no contact this past year due to the pandemic.  I shall miss her bright smile and shining spirit.  Until we meet again, my friend.
