Thomas M. Rollinson

Thomas M. Rollinson, 73, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit of West Chester. He was the husband of Edna Flanagan Rollinson, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Norman and Violet Oxier Rollinson. He served honorably in the US Navy. Thomas was employed at the Ford Motor Co. in Pennsauken, New Jersey. He enjoyed fishing and Philadelphia Sports.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by five children: Deborah Zukowski of Philadelphia, Thomas M. Rollinson, Jr., husband of Rita, of Philadelphia, Sandra Carson, wife of Thomas, of Williamstown, N.J., Sharon Kennedy, wife of Joe, of Sadsburyville and Richard Rollinson, husband of Sharon, of Sadsburyville; 11 grandchildren, one great, grandson and two sibling, Della Mertz and Norma Rollinson. He was preceded in death by a son Randy Rollinson and grandson, Robert Zukowski.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Glen Run Cemetery of Atglen. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held at the Funeral Home from 10 AM until the time of the service.
