To the Olinick family,

Sophie was a wonderful person. Im still in shock from her sudden passing, and can't believe she's gone. I feel like a piece of me just left. She was like a second mother to me. I know that it seems like a sad ending of life, but I have faith that Sophies spirit will live forever.

My prayer will be for the family to find peace and strength at this difficult time

I was very sorry to read about Sophia's passing. I only knew her for a short period of time, but she was always upbeat and positive. I met her at Hickory House when I was there last Fall recovering from hip surgery. We had several conversations about knitting and crocheting. I know you will all miss her, and I will keep her in my prayers.

Sorry for your loss to the olinick-colyer-hembree family! My daughter(Tyler) and Paige are good friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Sophia just once we talked for a long while. In that period of time I found out how much her children and family were her world. She was very proud of all of you. She was smiling from ear to ear talking about her children. I hope you find comfort knowing how Proud of you all she was. You all are in my prayers. God Bless

I was so sorry to hear of Sophie's passing. She was one of my mother's favorite nurses at Hickory House, and she will be truly missed. When I would go to visit Mom, Sophie was always upbeat and cheerful and very competent. I am sure the current patients at Hickory House are very saddened by her loss, as well.

So very sorry.

I am very sorry for your loss, you can never find the right words to say to someone who has lost such a wonderful person as Sophia. I knew from the first time I met Sophia that she was the one for Charlie. I want to also tell you that my wife Cindy(Charlies mother) absolutely loved Sophia, she could rest easy knowing Charlie was with a wonderful person. Rest in peace Sophia, and may God bring each and everyone of the family comfort knowing that we will see Sophia again. God Bless.

Dear Family and Friends,

I was devastated and shocked to hear of the passing of Sophie. I volunteered for many years at HH, and I always got a smile, and jeerful greeting from Sophie, her performance as a nurse, really outshined many of her peers, she really cared about the residents and there well being, and happiness were something she always strived for and acheieved.

Her smiles and her hugs and her good nature will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved her.

It was a privelege to have considered her a colleague and most importantly to have considered her a FRIEND.

Thanks for the privelege Sophie, I sure will miss you...Chris

We at Treasure Island Pet Center are shocked and terribly saddened by the death of this darling person. She was such a sweetheart and so nice to see everytime she came into the store with her daughters. We can only imagine the pain that everyone is feeling. We now have to think of this lovely lady as an angel. Regine, Dave, Ted, Greg and all of us at the pet store

My condolences to the Olinick and Hembree families. Sophia was such a good friend to me growing up and even though I haven't seen her in over 15 years, she always held a special place in my heart.

Sophia had a one of a kind infectious smile. When I saw her at work she always had the most beautiful smile and it made me always feel happy to be around her. She put forth a sense of comfort and caring that I will never forget. May her spirit live on through her family and friends.

It's always hard to lose loved ones. But what do you think about euthanasia?
