Condolences

It is with great sadness that I found out about the passing of my Aunt Ruth Wertz.  My condolences to Jeff, Kathy, and Cindy; her grandchildren; and her great grandchildren.  Aunt Ruth was a wonderful lady and I'll always have fond memories of her.  From boating on the Chesapeake to music playing in Romansville Church, she always was laughing and fun to be around. The solace I take with the news of her passing is that she'll be reunited with the love of her life, Uncle Ernie; her brothers and sisters; and especially her son, Jake.  She waited a long time to see Jake again.

Her faith and devotion to her family is something I'll never forget.  Our loss is heaven's gain.

Wayne Wertz

Prayers and condolences to Cindy, Jeff, Cathy and the other family members. Ruth was a woman who faithfully lived her Christian calling and inspired others to do so. It was a joy to serve as her pastor and to witness firsthand the way she trusted God throughout the joyful as well as the heartbreaking times of her life. Lifting prayers of praise and thanksgiving as we know she now among the great multitude of saints who spend all their days rejoicing in the presence of the Lord.
