Sorry to hear that Bob passed
Sorry to hear that Bob passed. I worked in Lukens for many years and always enjoyed the conversations that we had and also the fun times at the plant. Bob was a well liked man and he loved to talk about his hunting and fishing. Also a good Local Union 1165 member. RIP brother Bob
My old hunting buddy Bob
I got to know Bob first in the early 80. He had an optimism and energy about life and can do attitude even up to the end that I envied. At least in the times I spent with him over the years even after not seeing him for the better part of any year he always seemed glad to see me like we were family that had been apart. In the early years when he hunted together it always seemed more important to him that I do well or get the shot. I always felt that way about him too. When he got his buck last year despite all his health issues I was overjoyed for him because of his iron determination to get that one more hunt in. Infirmities be damned. If I called or he called even if we hadn't talked in 6 or 9 months we could pick up a conversation like we had talked just that morning. I'll miss him when I go to the farm we both hunted the past 40 years or so especially when I drive by his favorite spot except now I'll think maybe he'll be there there with good legs and young lungs and it will be his great hunting grounds. Miss you Bobby.
Bob was a great man, hunting
Bob was a great man, hunting and fishing buddy, but most of all, friend. I will really miss him. Sorry for your loss, Rebecca and the boys.
