Phyllis A. Taylor

Phyllis A. Taylor, 86, of Downingtown, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at her home.  She was the widow of Robert A. Taylor, who passed away in 1999 after they had shared 47 years of marriage.    

Born in Easton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Sarah E. (Hess) and D. Baldwin Hart.  She was a 1945 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and went on to graduate from the Coatesville Hospital School of Nursing.  She then worked as a registered nurse at Coatesville Hospital.  

She was a parishioner of the St. Joseph Parish of Downingtown, PA.

She is survived by her four sons: David Taylor, husband of Patty, of Lititz, Michael Taylor, husband Debbie, of Longview, TX, Stephen Taylor of Downingtown and Robert Taylor of Paradise; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Janeen Lee.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 7th at 5:30 PM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA with a viewing from 4:30 until 5:30 PM.  Interment will be private.
