Was very saddened to hear of Phil's passing. He was a fellow classmate- Class of 64. I have fond memories of Phil. I will never forget Phil, Tom Hawk, and Jim Arnsberger visiting me in the hospital in their dress blues. Phil was thoughtful like that. He was a handsome Marine who served his country well. So sorry he is gone.

I always called Phil the "Candy Man" because he was always sucking on a lollipop and always had extras to share. A really nice fella who will be missed. My condolences to his family.

PRAYERS TO THE FAMILY ON BEHALF OF PHIL. PHIL WAS A DECENT GUY, MY BROTHER JIM WOULD BRING PHIL HOME AND I FIRST MET HIM WHEN I WAS YOUNG. JIM, PHIL AND OTHER GUYS WENT TO THE MARINES TOGETHER FOR FOUR YEARS. PHIL WAS A GUY YOU WOULDN'T FORGET. HE WAS ALWAYS POLITE, FUNNY AND RESERVED IN HIS OWN WAY. IT IS SAD TO SEE ANOTHER ONE MOVING ON. I WOULD ALWAYS SEE HIM DOING HIS DAILY WALK WHEN WE LIVED IN PARKESBURG. IT WAS GREAT TO CHAT AND SEE HIM SMILE. HE WILL BE STILL DOING HIS WALK BUT WITHOUT THE ENDLESS HEALTH ISSUES HE HAD. I IMAGINE HE WILL BE SALUTING TO HIS OTHER BUDDIES AND LOVED ONES THAT HAS MOVED ON. IT WAS NICE KNOWING YOU PHIL. CONTINUOUS PRAYERS.
TINA WILSON (ARNSBERGER).

Many early memories of Phil. We were child hood friends and spent many hours playing at Minch Park! I'll never forget my first taste of horse radish was at the Mowrey dinner table, what a nice family and friends. Later Phil and I played soccer for Coach Davis. Sorry that your gone, the best to his brothers, I remember them as well. A friend, Tim Skiles
