Dear Leon and Family,
With the loss of your beloved son and brother, we also share your loss in the fire service as we have lost a brother. We could always count on Percy being at a special function no matter the location, weather or time of day, all that was needed was to call him and ask. He was a devoted individual and could always be found doing what he enjoyed most either working with Leon or performing his duties at the firehouse. We shall keep you in our thoughts and prayers, and may he look down upon us and guide us through life until we cross paths again.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Rusty's untimely death. I knew Rusty many years ago and he was always so helpful and kind to all. I never saw him get angry or ever treat anyone with anything other than respect and cheer. It's a shame that such good people like him have to leave so soon.

Rest Easy and fly high Percy!
I never took the time to thank you and I feel just terrible! Back on 3/1/86, there was a bad accident on Rt 322 in Downingtown. There were 2 vehicles involved and I happened to be in one of them. I was only 15 yrs old then. I knew you from the skating rink, but when you arrived at this horrific scene I was in shock. My neck, arm, and many other bones were broken. My head was split wide open with my brain literally hanging out. Percy, you were my angel that night. You knew what to do and was not hesitant in doing whatever you had to do to save me from death. I flew in a helicopter that night and was in the hospital for what seemed like eternity. It took me years to recover and here I am, now 42 yrs old and alive and well. I owe my life to you. God took another angel up to be with him and that angel is someone who I hold dearly! I am so sorry I never told you in person how grateful I am, but I promise to give you the biggest hug when we meet again! I send my deepest condolences to the whole family..he was a true hero in my life!! Rest easy my angel!

Prayers go out to the Trumbower family as they deal with the loss of a son and brother. Percy was a great friend to many of us and will be greatly missed. He was the one who would help anyone in need and give them the shirt off his back. The EMS and firefighting world lost a great and faithful man.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I met Rusty many years ago when we worked together for a medical supply company in Downingtown. Rusty was always such a good guy and a few years back helped my husband during a very difficult time. He was always very positive in everything! You will be missed by all who knew you my friend.

Dear family,
I noticed in the paper that you recently lost someone you love. I know how it feels to lose someone your close to. I lost my Uncle to a car accident two years ago and he was only 34. I am 17 years old but wanted you to know that others are thinking of you. Revelation 21:3,4 is one of my favorite scriptures because our creator didn't planonsin sin and death for us, but he does promise to fix things very soon. I hope it helps you feel better like it has for me.
Take care
