Margaret A. "Peg" Watterson

Margaret A. "Peg" Watterson, 84, of Cochranville, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2008 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center of West Chester. She was the beloved wife of Francis R. Watterson, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage.

Born in Cochranville, she was the daughter of Leland and Anna Mary Martin Pyle. A resident of Cochranville her entire life, she graduated from the Cochranville High School in 1943. She was member of the the Russellville Grange #91 for over 70 years.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by three children: Becky J. Clendenin Jennings, wife of Ralph, of Narvon, Jerry R. Watterson, husband of Marilyn, of Holtwood and Marty J. Watterson, wife of Diane, of Lebanon; eight grandchildren and six great, grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth F. Watterson and brother, Lewis Pyle.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg followed by interment in the Cochranville Methodist Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing at the Funeral Home, which will be held on both Monday, December 8th, from 6 until 8 PM and again on Tuesday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service.
