M. Barbara Lawrence

M. Barbara Lawrence, 80, of Oxford, passed away on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 under the care of Jennersville Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth E. Lawrence, Jr., with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, Barbara was the daughter of the late M. Vivian (Moyer) and C. Raymond Reeser. She was a 1958 graduate of Scott High School. Barbara was a parishioner of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension of Parkesburg for many years and more recently a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Oxford.

Barbara was a long time member of the “card club” in Parkesburg and enjoyed regular card club nights socializing with here close friends. She also accompanied her husband to many train meets and he did likewise as she attend craft shows where she displayed a variety of things she painted.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by her son, Jeffrey L. Lawrence, husband of Carol, of Hatfield; and two grandchildren, Jacob A. and Timothy R. Lawrence. She was predeceased by her two sons, Michael K. Lawrence, who died in 2002, and M. Kenneth Lawrence, who died in 1962.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
