Rembering Jim
Dear Peggy and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and for you as I remember Jim. We cannot always understand why certain experiences come to us, but we know there is One who does understand and know why and His name is Jesus. You will lean heavily upon our Lord during these days which will give you the strength needed in the days to come.
Jim brought a lot of joy to a lot of folks. I am thankful Jim was my friend and that I got to talk with him recently on the phone. But most of all I’m thankful that Jim knew Jesus as his Savior. As Christians, and because of Jim’s faith and ours, we believe that the time of separation is only temporary, so we will see Jim again.
May our Lord continue to comfort your hearts and may His love and peace ever be yours.
In His love,
Pastor Jerry
Remembering Jim
I can't count the number of times I passed by Jim & Peggy on the way to my seat at church. Always a hug from Peggy and a warm smile and handshake from Jim. We get so used to routines like that, that we come to expect it every week, but seeing and greeting Jim and Peggy was not a routine. It was always a pleasure and and an inspiration to have them there, knowing sometimes they were giving an extra effort to be there. It was a real testament to their faith. I'll miss Jim and our Sunday morning greetings. We are comforted by knowing without a doubt where Jim is now. Our hearts are with you Peggy.
