James Patrick Wilhelm

James Patrick Wilhelm, 90, of Downingtown, PA, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. He was the husband of the late Joyce M. Wilhelm. They shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Christopher Fitzgerald Wilhelm and Sara McNiff Wilhelm.

Jim was a resident of the Dowingtown area for over 45 years. He owned and operated, for 52 years, the James P. Wilhelm Construction Co. of Lyndell, PA. 

He was passionate about his cars; especially Corvettes. He also enjoyed skiing and golf. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Downingtown.

He is survived by two children; Mary Gieder and James Wilhelm, four grandchildren; Jason Wilhelm, Melissa Gieder Piselli, Danielle Gieder Antico and William Gieder, five great grandchildren, one brother Christopher Wilhelm and nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by one sister Sally Wilhelm.

Services will be private.
