On behalf of the Garrett family, we wish the Stirling family our deep condolences, sympathies and love at the passing of papa Jim. He was a wonderful man, our former neighbor and a life-long friend. He was always full of joy and cheer and made everyone feel special, loved and accepted. A committed family man and husband to his beloved Shirley, with whom he shared 67-years of marriage. We treasure our long history with the Stirlings stretching back over five decades. We will never forget the food old days on Hallelujah Hill, as we called it. Our prayers and thoughts go to all the family at this time. I am glad to have visited with Jim and Shirley within the past year, and as always, was greatly refreshed by Jim's warmth, sincerity and faith in Christ. He will forever be remembered and missed, until we see him again in heaven with the Lord and all those who have gone on before us and are cheering us on to finish the race well.
