Although I am new to the family, and we do not get up to PA but once a year, I have a special place in my heart for Jim. He was one of the first who welcomed me to the family and his sincere love for people always shone through. Anytime I saw him, he wore a big smile. I am truly saddened by the news of his passing. He was a good man.

I am sure you, Betty, son Jimmy and the entire family will miss his presence dearly. I pray that all the happy memories of time spent with him soon replace the sorrow now in your heart. Holding you in thought and prayer for strength during this difficult time.
Love,
Doris

As a caregiver it was very special for me to spend the last few weeks with Jim. Working 3rd shift I spent many nights sitting with Jim talking and learning so much from him. He always told me how much he loved all the Parkesburg kids he saw grow up. He was everyone's Pappy and we all love him. I will miss him and was blessed to know him. I am glad that I had the opportunity to give back to him a little of what he has given my family over so many years. before I left work on Wednesday morning he gave me a hug and I sat and held his hand for awhile. I will cherish that time for the rest of my life. My prayers are with the family I know this is a great loss to you all. May he rest in peace until you are all together again.

When Cindy's Dad passed away (Harold) I meet the Wilde Family for the first time. Jim helped Cindy's Mom thru the whole process and helped her grieve thru it as well. His kind words to all of us were so greatly appreciated.
Now it is our turn, and yet I cannot find just what to say. May your faith in our Lord allow you to greave thru this as it did Helen. May you remember all the words Jim would tell us in this time.
Your family was so good to us, may we be there for you.

My prayers are with all of you at this time. Jim was a wonderful, caring, happy man. He (along with the other "Wilde Boys") have helped so many families through the years, when dealing with our grief. When my mom went home to Heaven, so many years ago, Jim & Bud helped my family through the process. They told me "Remember your Mom isn't suffering anymore and is now in Heaven". So please know that Jim is having a wonderful reunion with all his loved ones who went ahead of him and he is now healthy again. My heart goes out to all of you, because it's always difficult for those left behind. Jim was loved by all who knew him and will be missed. Praying our Lord will give you comfort through this time of grieving.

It is with great sorrow when I read that Jim had passed away. I can honestly say that he was a great man, and will be truly missed. Jim was full of compassion when handling the final requests for family members that had passed away. I can remember talking to him and his family when I needed to make arrangements for both of my parents, my sister and numerous other family members. It is really hard to say goodbye to a loved one. May God be with you in your time of sorrow. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Words cannot express the loss everyone feels. Our sons grew up in the Presbyterian Church and Pappy was such an integral part of that growing up. Pappy always told them "You mamma brought you into this world and I'll help her take you out if you aren't good." Didn't matter how long it has been since we have seen Pappy but he always made me and my family feel like a part of the family. Pappy is in Heaven, dancing with the angels, playing his trumpet in the heavenly bands, and talking to God about all of his "kids", real, adopted, and not. Please accept our condolences and also our joy that Pappy is no longer on earth, in pain and having difficulty breathing but that he is in heaven with his savior.

Dear Betty
John and I send our deepest sympathy to you, Sharon and Jimmy. We have many fond memories of the days when we all were young----the great times at church and when we got together with that special group of friends we had when living in Parkesburg. There was much laughter and fun with our young children and the parties we had.

We send our thoughts, love, and prayers to all the family at this sad time
and know that Jim is with our Lord and Savior.

Prayerfully,

I was saddened to learn of Mr. Wilde's passing. My parents and Mr. and Mrs. Wilde were friends for a lifetime. I'll never forget the professionalism...and especially the compassion...of the extended Wilde family as all of you helped us through Dad's passing in late March of this year, followed by Mom's in mid-August. To Mrs. Wilde, and all of the Wilde family - I offer you my sincerest condolences in your time of loss. Jim has truly entered the Kingdom of Heaven. I regret that I was unable to travel to Pennsylvania to say one last goodbye.

To the Wilde Family: Please know that you all have been in my thougts and prayers. Bud, Jim and my dad, John (who passed on 4 years ago) used to stop for coffee at the Little Chef ll restaurant in Parkesburg and "solve all the world's problems", at least that is what my dad called it. But what I remember most about seeing them there together was the laughter and they seemed to know every single person who walked through the door of that restaurant! I hope happy memories like this one along with the millions of your own will comfort you along with knowing that Mr. Jim is up in heaven with Jesus and all those who have gone up before him.
