Irma J. Jones, 75, of Elverson, died on Sunday Sept. 26, 2010 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the widow of George H. Jones. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Harry A. and Laura Mae Clemons Griffin. Irma served as a cook at St. Mary Providence of Elverson.
She is survived by three children; Bonnie R. Kuhn of Parkesburg, Cindy L. Snow of Northeast, MD and Randy J. Myersand wife Shawn of Elverson, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, three siblings, John Griffin of Coatesville, Dot Hays of Nottingham and Ethel Calhoun of Parkesburg and several stepchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Ronnie Myers.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg followed by interment at the Little Britain Presby. Cemetery. Viewing Tuesday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm and also Wednesday morning from 10 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Wilde Funeral Home.
