Harold R. "Bud" Dickey, 90, formerly of Parkesburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, in Honey Brook, PA.  He was the husband of the late Lois W. Dickey who passed in 2022.  Born in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of the late Harold Raymond and Hannah Scully Dickey.

Bud was a 1950 graduate of Scott High School and was a retired auto mechanic.  He worked for Malcolm Wright Buick in Thorndale, PA, and later owned and operated Town Service Center in Parkesburg.  He was a member of Parkesburg Presbyterian Church and Masonic Lodge #383 in Coatesville where he was a member for 49 years and was a Past Master.

He is survived by a son, Dale A. (Ann Shank) Dickey of Coatesville, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and siblings, Kenny Dickey of Lancaster and Marion Arrowood of Glenmoore, PA.  He was preceded in death by a son, Harold H. "Butch" Dickey, and sister, Ruth Arrowood.

The family would like to thank the staff at Tel Hai Retirement Community and Compasses Hospice for their care and support.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 1:00 PM from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA, 19365 with a visitation starting at 12:00 PM.  Masonic services will be held at 12:45 PM.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Brandywine-Goddard Lodge #383.

Mr Bud was blessing to have as a backyard neighbor, and would talk to my husband every chance he got. He has been missed and we are saddened to hear he passed. May happy memories be with you and your family through this time.
