George Richard Clausen

George Richard Clausen, 93, of West Chester, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at the Pocopson Home of West Chester. He was the husband of Rose M. Fish Clausen with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Hinsdale, ILL., he was the son of the late Fred K. Clausen and Madsine Jorgensen Clausen. 

George graduated from the Alton Senior High School in Alton, ILL. He entered the US Army in 1944 and served during WWII with the Army of Occupation in Germany and was honorably discharged after the War in 1946. He continued his education earning a bachelor's degree at the University of Missouri. He was employed most of his life by the National Rolling Mill as a mechanical engineer.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two children; Cheryl McWilliams and husband Herb of West Chester and John Clausen and wife Christina of New Jersey and four grandchildren; Trevor Clausen, Mia Clausen, Rick Clausen and Aiden McWilliams. 

Private graveside services will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
