George J. Palumbo, III, 50, of Coatesville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at his mother's home in West Brandywine Towship.  

He was the son of Patricia A. (Zemacke) and the late George J. Palumbo, Jr.  

George was an animal lover who would often rescue animals in need of help.  He adored his beautiful granddaughter, Ariana.  

He worked with his brother at Manley Fence Co.

George is survived, in addition to his mother, by his beloved daughter, Gina Palumbo of Coatesville and her husband Patrick Hinkle, his granddaughter, Ariana Hinkle; brothers, Eric Palumbo of Coatesville, Kevin Palumbo, husband of Sue, of Ephrata and Vincent Palumbo, husband of Nancy, of the Poconos; his aunt, Blanche McElyea of Hellertown, nephews, Jeremy and Michael, nieces Kimberly and Alyssa and great niece, Kaylah. He is also survived by his close friend Norma Jean Bennett, and the mother of his daughter, Paula Schmidt.  

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 2 at 1 PM at Pavilion #1 in Hibernia Park, 1 Park Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320.  Please bring a covered dish for the meal that will be held after the service around 3 PM.  All are invited.

Pat and family.I am saddened to hear of George's death.I remember him,Nicky Mammarella and my Shelly together on Fleetwood Street at Mary's house.I ask the Lord to wrap you all in His arms and may you feel His love and peace.Hugs to you Pat.
