Esther Rita Smith Yeoman, 87, of Downingtown, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2012 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the widow of the late Norman C. Yeoman, Jr., who passed away in 2008.
Born in Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Esther Smith. She was employed at the Bell Telephone Co. for 31 years and QVC for 10 years.
She is survived by her children: Dana Yeoman, Diane Law and Brenda Zappacosta; her sister Patsy Bender; and several grandchildren and great, grandchildren.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

We miss you so very much.
I am so glad I got the chance to speak with you just the day before and although the conversation was long and winded for you, it, like the rest of them, will forever be cherished.
In hindsight, the things you spoke of, I know you were telling me for a reason and then, when word came, I knew why you said them to me and I understood and I was honored to have heard your words.
I will always hold dear to me what you said to me. No matter what, I shan't forget, Rita, and I promise to do my best to fulfill it.
I love you and miss you so very much. Your humor, your tenacity, your virility and devotion.
We look forward to the resurrection, as promised by Jehovah.
