Elaine E. Steczak-Babel

Elaine E. Steczak-Babel, 79, of Parkesburg, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She was the widow of the late john M. Babel who died in 2003. They shared 47 years of marriage together. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Laus Steczak. 

Elaine was an area resident all her life. She was employed as a secretary by Victory Candies of Coatesville and more recently she worked for Royal Paper Products also of Coatesville. 

Elaine was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Parkesburg.

She is survived by two daughters; Roxanna Babel-Taylor wife of Mark of Parkesburg and Kristie Michaels wife of Patrick also of Parkesburg, three grandchildren; Steven Barnett, husband of Brandi, Jennifer Barnett, fiancé of Tom and Austin Babel-Brown, five great grandchildren; Brayden, Silus, Thomas, Connor and Aidan, and three siblings; Charlotte Missimer of Coatesville, Jack Steczak of Northeast, MD and Robert Steczak of East Earl, PA and her niece Joann Taylor. 
She was preceded in death by a sister Delores Wright and a Grandson Evan Babel-Brown.

Funeral services will held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
