Donald J. Butcher, Sr., 84, of West Grove, passed away on December 25, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Walton) Butcher.
An area resident his entire life, he was retired from the Penguin Industry of Pomeroy.
He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his children: Donna Mae Brown, Bobbi Ann Butcher, Eugenia Butcher, Hopey Boddy and Yvonne Ruskin; 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and siblings, Gloria Watson, Paul Butcher and Charles Butcher.
He was predeceased by his son, Donald J. Butcher, Jr.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2 PM at the Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 Main St., Parkesburg. Visitation from 1 until 2 PM.
