Deborah L. Wagner, 67, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away at her home peacefully on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. She was the wife of the late Gregory Wagner who died June of this year. Born, 3/20/1954, she was the daughter of the late Charles Scott and Marie E. Rubincam Scott.

Debbie was an area resident all her life and a 1972 graduate of the Octorara High School. Later, she continued her education at the Center for the Arts and Technology where she earned an associate's degree in Practical Nursing. Throughout her nursing career, one of Debbie’s favorite jobs was being a nurse at the Brandywine Hospital in the Emergency Room Department before her retirement.

Debbie loved singing and spent many years performing at local gospel shows. Debbie was also a lover of all animals but most of all her miniature horses, birds and her dog, Riley.

She is survived by three children: Heather Gilroy of Cecilton, Maryland, Lauri Wagner, companion of Derek Barber, of Parkesburg, and Stephen Wagner, husband of Amy, of Paradise and four grandchildren; Dylan Barber, Grace Wagner, Ava Barber, and Miles Wagner.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Christiana Fire House, 214 S. Bridge St.,
Christiana, PA 17509 on January 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM  to 3:00 PM

Debbie was a neighbor of mine when we were in school.  I will always remember her loving to sing. May God bless you all during this sad time in your life

I am so sorry to see this! Debbie was a wonderful lady with a great spirit. My parents were friends with her a Greg when I was a child. I have very fond memories of her and Greg!
