Betty M. Salada, 76, of Christiana, PA passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020 while under the care of Newport Meadows Nursing Home where she resided. She was the widow of the late Joseph R. Salada who died in 2005. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Norman L. Griffith and Dorothy E. Smith Griffith.

She was an area resident all her life and a 1962 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. Betty was employed in the Accounting Department of Brandywine Hospital for over 30 years before moving to Auntie Anne's Corporate offices, and finally retiring from the West Chester University Department of Student Services.

Betty loved to travel, spending time in the Casinos, sharing time with her family, watching mystery shows, going to the theater, and was an avid reader, especially of books written by Danielle Steele.

She is survived by two children; Jaime Goodyear and Joseph Salada, two step-daughters; Joann Hartshorne and Brenda Salada Newlin, seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and five siblings; Tim Griffith, Norman Griffith, Ruthie Dunn, Joyce Stern and Mark Griffith.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Romansville Methodist Cemetery, 1859 Strasburg Road, Coatesville, PA.

We loved Betty and Pappa Joe, now they will be back together! They had an amazing family and they left us with many fond memories!

Jamie & Family,  my condolences on your Mom. I worked with her at Auntie Anne's & I so enjoyed her friendship. She was always so kind & helpful. I know how much she loved her Family & she will be so missed.
