Betty Jane Patton Witte, 92, of Parkesburg, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester. She was the wife of Charles W. Witte, who passed away in 1992.
Born in Lebanon, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Jackson F. and Sarah C. Jane (Miller) Patton.
A graduate of the Benner High School. She was employed by the Friendship Elementary School at the Cafeteria Manager, retiring at the age of 72.
She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Witte Schreffler of Charlestown, MD and Cindy Sellers of Parkesburg; daughter-in-law, Lynn Witte of Coatesville; and siblings, Madelon Sholly of Thorndale and Gerald Patton of Wagontown. She was predeceased by her son Charles D. Witte and four sisters and eight brothers.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at 11 AM at the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery, 2237 Strasburg Rd, East Fallowfield, PA 19320.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Neighborhood Hospice, 400 E Marshall St, West Chester, PA 19380.
