Betty E. Farra

Betty E. Farra, 77, of Coatesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Harrison Senior Living.  

She was the wife of Paul R. Farra, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, Betty was the daughter of the late Robert A. Slider and Mildred Allena Wingert.

She was a graduate of Coatesville Area High School.  Betty worked intermittently as a medical receptionist for 44 years, retiring some 17 years ago.  

She was formerly a member of Olivet Methodist Church.

Betty enjoyed golfing and plastic craft work.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two sons, Brian K. Farra of Lansdale and Glenn A. Farra of Tennessee; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Marion Maxwell of Gordonville.  She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Slider.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11 AM at Community Bible Church, 234 Old Leacock Road, Gordonville, Pa, with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.
