Bettie B. Weaver

Bettie B. Weaver, 82, formerly of Coatesville, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Tel Hai Retirement Community.  She was the widow of Donald Weaver, who passed away this year after they shared 64 years of marriage together.  

 

Born in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Lila and James H. Brown.  She was 1949 graduate of the Coatesville High School and spent two years in the Coatesville School of Nursing.

 

Bettie was a member of the Coatesville Choraliers.  

 

She is survived by three sons, Donald L. Weaver, Jr. and wife Cindy of Akron, OH, John Michael Weaver and wife Elizabeth of Coatesville and D. Scott Weaver and wife Charlynn also of Coatesville and four grandchildren, Dana Lynn Weaver, Marian V. Weaver, Erin R. Weaver and Joshua D. Weaver; and her brother, David Brown of Ocala, FL. She was preceded in death by her grandson Zachary Allen Weaver.

 

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16 at 11 AM at the Parkesburg Baptist Church, 103 West Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment at the Pequea Presbyterian Cemetery, Gap, PA. Viewing at the church from 10 to 11 am and also Thursday evening, from 6 to 8pm at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg.
