To the Patterson family,
To the Patterson family,
You probably don’t remember me, it’s been so long, but I remember you all so fondly. I remember hanging out at your house and going with Ben to swim at my grandmoms house. I can’t imagine the pain and loss you’re going through right now. Please reach out if there’s anything I can do or that you need. I will be praying for peace for you and praying the God takes care of Ben. There must be a reason God needed him now. My deepest condolences.
Sincerely,
Shannon Leslie

To the Patterson Family,
To the Patterson Family,
I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss. Ben was truly one of the kindest and most genuine people that I had the privilege of knowing. I first met Ben a long time ago when we both started working at Sunoco together. We became buddies outside of work, and shared many fun times together. He was always a good friend to me. To this day, I would stop by Sunoco to chat and catch up with him. He would often tell me about his dogs, recent trips to the beach, and his family, whom I could tell he loved very much. We’d made plans to get together soon. He’d always give me two good honks whenever he passed by my house in Atglen. He will surely be missed.
My thoughts & condolences are with all of you.
Mr. and Mrs. Patterson, I am deeply sorry for the unimaginable loss of your son Benjamin. My prayers our with your entire family. My love and care, Anne Wieland

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Patterson,
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Patterson,
I knew your son, Ben, very briefly. I am quite sure he would not have remembered my name but I will surely not forget his. The few times I found myself in his company were very memorable to me. The last time I saw him we had a conversation that will stick with me forever. We spoke of his future and the many possibilities. I saw the kind boy you raised inside the restless young man he was. We laughed. I made a few suggestions to him which he thanked me for. He offered me to give me 5 dollars for what reason, even now, I am still unsure of. Our little talk ended with me telling him that the discussion was just Part One of a series of talks we were going to have whenever our paths again might cross. Until then Ben…..
As a parent, I cannot even begin to imagine the agony. Please forgive my intrusion but as it was, I felt compelled to reach out to you to express my heartfelt sorrow over your loss.
Rest in Peace Ben.
God Bless You,
Carmen De Liberty
Melissa and Jim,
Melissa and Jim,
You & your family have been in my thoughts and prayers ever since I heard the tragic news of Ben's passing. Losing your child has got to be the number one most horrendous happening in one's life. Sadly, this side of our heavenly reunion with our loved ones, we will not understand. But remember that Ben would want you to keep his memory alive by living your best life. May God hold you in the palm of his hand and wrap his arms of comfort around you all. When you are ready to talk, text, or visit I'll be here. With much love cousin! ❤ Marcia
