Beatrice M. “Bea” Miller Yunkin, 82, of Parkesburg peacefully went home to be with her Lord at her residence on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ellis E. “Smoke” Yunkin in 1997. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Florence Mulvaney Miller.

Bea enjoyed quilting and made quilts for all of her children and as many grandchildren as she was able. She also enjoyed sewing, making dolls, putting together puzzles, doing crossword puzzles, listening to music, gardening, and visiting with family and friends.

Bea was employed part time by Weis Markets in Gap.

She is survived by 7 children, all of whom she loved with all of her heart. Ellis “Bumpy” and wife Nancy, of Lititz; Bruce, and wife Carol, of Exton; Gloria Jean “Susie” and husband Frank Bowman, of Gap; Barry, of Gap; Ron Sr, of Parkesburg; Lois “Penny” and husband William “Bill” Wertz, of Parkesburg; and Jennifer and husband Ken Maurer of Lebanon; 23 grandchildren, 3 step- grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Lois” Bobbi” Proudfoot, her brother Ronald Miller, her granddaughter Joanna Yunkin, and her daughter-in-law Johnnie “Jackie” Yunkin.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 8pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. Viewing from 6 to 8pm. Interment will be private.

Condolences

The entire Yunkin family is in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Your mom was such a nice person. (Except for that time when I dumped Bruce off the back of my motorcycle on the way home from school one rainy day.) I will forever remember our times as kids at the old racetrack.

To all of Bees family.I  got to know Bee by being her hairdresser the last few years.She was a strong women.I will miss her and all the talks about God when I would do her hair.My prayers are with all of you at this time.

Dear Ron , Leanne and Mike, Nicky and Ron Jr. ~ We were so sorry to hear of "Mom Mom's " passing. Knowing she had you to take care of her all those years must have been a great comfort. We are so sorry for your loss,  but know she must be livening things up in Heaven ! You are a wonderful testament to her and will have many stories to share with her Great Grandchildren .
