Dwight Reggie Price 89, of Cochranville, PA passed away on Tues. August 20, 2019
at the Harrison House in Christiana, PA. 

Born on December 14, 1929 in North Fork,  N.C., Dwight was the son of the late Milton Jackson Price and Rachel Lewis Price and the last surviving sibling. 

Dwight was married to the  love of his life Julia Barlow Price for 57 years until her passing in 2007.
Dwight retired from the Lukens Steel company in the mid 1980's. He was and avid traveler along with Julia and their daughter Alesia visiting every state except for Alaska and Hawaii. 

Dwight throughly enjoyed boating, fishing, playing darts, cards, pool, doing the daily crossword puzzles and cryptograms. He was a life long member of the VFW in Parkesburg and Kennett Square, PA, and a member of the American Legion in Christiana, PA. 

Dwight and Julia loved to entertain family and friends. They especially enjoyed having large back yard bbq's where he was famous for his Secret Spice recipe that took him several years to perfect. 

Dwight is survived by his daughter Mary Jane Hilton, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren 11 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Cecil, Glenn, Paul, Bert , Fred, Locy Osborne and Fay Roark, his daughter Alesia Price Twyman, sons in laws George B. Donkewicz Sr., and Ronald D. Hilton, grandson Dwight Van Cornett, as well as two great grandsons, Nick Sloan and Mark Mellinger, Jr.
 
Please join the family for Dwight's graveside service on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Union Hill Cemetery located at 424 N Union St, Kennett Square, PA 19348.

What a sorrow for many! We had the best times together doing word searches, going to bible study, happy hour, bingo and just visiting for hours and days at a time. I will miss your smile and love. You made the world a better place.

I am the son of Locie, sister to Dwight. I always loved his visits when he came to NC. He was a wonderful man and will be missed.

Dwight, was a great uncle he was alway here for my dad (Cecil).when I needed him to  help me. He was a great person. Loved going to yard sales to get a  cheap bargain.now he’s with  Julie and his family may he rest and peace! He’ll be missed.
