Sadness
Mark: My best friend from high school, and a man that could accomplish whatever he put his mind to -- sometimes despite everyone else pleading for him NOT to do it. Please. Don't do it. Mark was always on the march to his own drummer. I loved hm and missed him and wish I could have helped more. Go with God and rest in peace We'll look for the seats you're saving forbus til we get there. Peace out Gus Patukas
Scuba buddy

Now what?
Who do I turn to for advice, solicited and unsolicited? Who is going to love me even though they are my political opposite? You were there for me and I think I under-appreciated that, and was slammed with that thought when I heard about your passing. You were one of the good guys, Mark. There aren't a lot of them. To Mark's mom and brother, I hold you both in my heart as you navigate life without Mark. I can only imagine the challenge that will be.
Saddened by the loss
My condolences to Mark’s family. His passing saddens me. Mark befriended me after watching my parents drop me off at Salem College when the Dean told them they should immediately head home after unloading the car to get ahead of a storm that was moving towards the Cumberland Pass, It was his first day in Salem as well. He was a good guy. He will be missed.
There are no words
Mark was a wonderful friend of both my husband, Earl and myself. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. RIP Mark. Hoping to see you again one day.
Condolences
My thoughts and prayers are with you Ethel and David. I was deeply saddened when I learned of the loss of your beloved son and brother.
My Love and Prayers
Ethel and David I just got a phone call yesterday from Sherre DeCarlo telling me about Mark's passing. I am so very sorry to hear this. Ethel, you know I've always loved you and your family. Mark was always the more outgoing of the boys and talked more with me. I pray our Lord will surround you with His love and peace. The only positive thing I can say right now is I'm thankful to be certain we'll all be reunited with him, your Mike and all our loved ones in heaven when nothing can separate us again.Love you so much.
