Marie C. Congo, 92, of Zion Hill in Atglen, passed away on Saturday, November 10th at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the widow of the late Ralph E. Congo, Sr., who died in 1977.

Born in Atglen, she was the daughter of the late Bessie (Purnell) and James H. Mosbey.  An area resident her entire life, Marie was a graduate of Scott High School.  

She was an active member of the Ercildoun Church of Christ.  And she was an honored member of the Christiana Historical Society.  

Marie worked at RCA in Lancaster, until she retired at the age of 65.

She is survived by her beloved son, Ralph E. Congo, Jr. of West Chester; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Pitts of New Jersey, and a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Marie was predeceased by her siblings, James H. Mosbey Jr., Florence Mosbey, and Lydia Barton.  

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018, at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Church of Christ Cemetery.  The viewing will be held at the funeral home from 9 until the start of the service.

Such a beloved friend to us & Mom Hogg.  Our thoughts and prays are extended to Ralphie, friends, & loved ones.  I will miss seeing you on your porch, or grocery store (but thats's been awhile).  We always had a hug for each other.  I hope your aches & pains are now gone, & you are rejoycing in heaven with all our loved ones.  Till we met again, love & hugs.

Marie was the most wonderful person. She was dedicated to Ralphies well being and lived her whole life for him. I will miss you Mrs. Congo.
