John M. Lease, 54, of Birdsboro, PA, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 8, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline E. Canale Lease with whom he shared 34 years of marriage. Born in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late William T. Lease and Grace E. Bennett Lease. 

John was a County resident most of his life. He was a hardworking self employed house painter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors but most of all spending time with his family and his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two daughters; Magen Renee Lease and partner Derrick Clark and Amanda Rose Lease, three grandchildren; Elaina Rose Clark, Harlan Ira Lease and Eden Jade Clark, seven siblings; Ellen Lippold, Tom Lease and wife Donna, Raymond Lease and wife Annette, Sharon Baxter and husband Dave, Linda Feathers and husband Jim, Mary Colon and husband Raullin and Charles Lease and wife Maggie; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Richard Lease and David Lease.

The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 14th at 11 AM at Wagontown Union Chapel, 469 W Kings Hwy, Coatesville, PA 19320.  A visitation will be held at the Chapel from 10 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the Lease family asks that you donate to either the Wagontown Union Chapel, P.O. Box 200, Wagontown, PA 19376, or to Wilde Funeral Home to help defray the funeral expenses.

I am so sorry for your loss...all of the Lease family will be in my prayers. My heart hurts for each and every one of you; Jackie and John have been together since they were so young. I can still hear his ornery laugh when I'd run into him from time to time. Wow I just have no words except how very very sorry I am your family is going through this. I pray God gives you comfort through this.

john and i went hunting for many years down in central west virginia,he was a great  fun loving guy, that was a shadow in the woods,the kinda guy you you like to hunt with,he was a great family man,that would even talk to the cat when he got the chance,love you john and god bless you in the happy hunting grounds,may god bless you in your journeys.....billy
