Life is but a Stopping Place
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord

My brother
The Broken Chain
We little knew that day
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
You did not go alone,
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
your love is still our guide;
Though we cannot see you
you're always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
nothing seems the same,
but as He calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
My Daddy
First and foremost I want to thank you for your condolences about my Father. My Mother, brother, and I are moved by how much love everyone has expressed about him... This man was the greatest man, that held a lot on his shoulders that he might not have had to... We miss his calls, his voice, and most importantly we just miss him. Life will never be the same without him, but his children and the woman he was with for 31 years, and the mother of his children all appreciate these kind words about this man that we all so deeply loved... We still can't believe that he's gone... I love you Daddy. Keep a good eye on your grandson Zayne for me... He misses you more than I can put into words and doesn't understand but Ben and I are trying to help him and the family through this... We will make you proud... I promise. We love you Daddy...
For my coworker
Hello wilmott family.
I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was a wonderful man. We worked together at acme. And he was awesome. Never a dull moment. He truly was my favorite. He will be missed terribly. I do apologize again.
Our sincere condolences
To all the family and friends of John. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this very difficult time. It would be very difficult to write all the memories and time John and I had. What a wonderful and kind man. I will never forget, and think of him often. May he Rest In Peace. Sincerely,Doug Dennis
Never to be Forgotten
John it's been 2 years today that you were taken from our lives. I still can't grasp the fact that your never coming back. I know I am not supposed to question the Big Man upstairs as to WHY this happened to you. But you know me and I still ask WHY? So many things were left unsaid. Words that will never be spoken. Was there something or anything I could have done to help you. If you could send me a sign or appear in my dream and maybe help me through this. We still had a lifetime.. Our time together started January 26, 1981. Until we married September 15, 1990. And then came our first born child, Your(Our) precious baby girl Nicole. You were so proud of your little girl. And then in July 27, 2001 we had our son. Another proud moment for you. And this one was named after you and of course your Dad. So there;s 3 great Wilmott men. We had our ups and downs. Then things for us were gone in a divorce. But we slowly became friends again but better yet we became better parents. Working together to solutions for our kids. We were finally a Team. Our last conversation is something that I will forever remember and treasure. Things were said about how we really felt. And a possibily of us being Mr. and Mrs. again. Well to that we will never know.. But save a seat for me up in the sky. Cause we have unresolved business here. LOL.. John I miss you so so much. I bet you thought you would ever hear that from me again. LOL.. I love you John always and Forever.. God how I wish I could have saved you..
