Lynne N. Gay, 60, of Coatesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the beloved wife of David J. Gay with whom she shared 40+ years of marriage. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Melvin F. Neff, Sr. and Ethel Mowday Neff.
Lynne was an area resident all her life and a 1972 graduate of the Coatesville Area High School. She was employed by Chester County Mutual Insurance Co. which is now the Cumberland Insurance Co. She was a lifelong member of the Wagontown Union Chapel.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two brothers; Melvin Neff and wife Rose Marie of Coatesville and Mark Neff and wife Christi of Wagontown, four nieces, five nephews and eight great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 10:30am from the Wagontown Union Chapel, 469 W. Kings Hwy., Wagontown, PA, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville. Viewing from 8:30 to 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynne's memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I just found out. I worked with Lynn for about 12 1/2 years at Chester County Mutual. She was a great woman. May all the wonderful memories get you through these hard times and all of her funny stories.
