John Forrest Taylor III, 67, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, June 6th, 2014 at the Paoli Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Josephine (Volpe) Taylor, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, John was the son of John Forrest Taylor Jr. and the late Mae Elizabeth (Fox) Taylor. An area resident his entire life, John was a graduate of the Scott High School. He was employed by PECO as an electrician, retiring in 1998.
John served honorably in the U.S. Navy.
John was a member of Brandywine Goddard Masonic Lodge #383 F. & A. M., the Rajah Temple and the Brandywine Shrine.
John was a member of the Olivet United Methodist Church.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Bellevue Cemetery of Gap. The viewing will be from 10 until 10:45, at which time a Masonic Service will take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Shriners Hospitals for Children", Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
